Arkansas Foundation and Drain LLC offers foundation solutions including, French Drains and Surface Drains that are connected to a drywell box moving water away from your home. The main purpose of a French Drain is to drain excess water from the area around your foundation, so that it doesn't get under your home.
If ground water gets under your slab foundation, it could cause heaving. If your soil is prone to over saturation from heavy rain or flooding, this drain will efficiently channel any water away that is trapped in the ground.
Surface drains are used to collect and move away large volumes of water in a short amount of time. They are frequently installed in sloped surfaces to catch surplus water runoff and drain it way before in can collect and cause serious damage.
Minor cracks and leaks can be signs that your foundation is damaged and over time this damage may compromise the integrity of your home. If you spot a major crack in the ground or find a leak in your crawl space or yard, it may indicate a more serious problem.
A foundation repair is an investment that can help prevent long term damage and future cost saving you money in the long run. Only a professional can determine whether these cracks or leaks are signs of severe structural problem.
French drain systems offer a great mix of functionality and natural appeal to your landscaping. Many french and other yard drains are installed on a slope where still-water collects after storms. Adding these can prevent water from leaking into your basement, ruining your foundation, or destroying your yard.
We have our french drain installation process down to a science: We dig out a trench 12 inches below the footers and install Mirafi N160 Geotextile for water and soil separation. We then build up the base using 3/4" clean rock. Install a 6-inch perforated pipe with a sleeve. Backfill trench with 3/4" clean rock to top. Contact us today to see what we can do for your property!
